We had a great time at Gwrych Castle last weekend. Lots of people came along to the castle, and enjoyed all the entertainment and activities in the glorious sunshine.

An Evening of Magic with the North Wales Magic Circle
The North Wales Magic Circle is holding an evening of magical entertainment in celebration of the Queen’s 90th birthday.
The evening starts at 6.30pm with children’s entertainment, followed by close up and cabaret magic; all performed by our members.
Jay will be performing close up magic, as well as cabaret magic later in the evening.
The event is free to attend, and refreshments will be provided. Doors open at 6.30pm, and the evening carries on until 9.30pm.

Gwrych Castle – Party in the Park
Jay will be joining Gwrych Castle Trust for their Family Fundraiser on the 4th and 5th of June.
As well as Jay’s magic, there will also be stilt walkers, donkey rides, birds of prey, guided tours, crafts and stalls, and so much more.
The fun starts at 12pm each day, with an entry fee of £5 for adults.

Night of Illusion at The Skerries, Bangor
Join Gatling Magic on the 27th of May at The Skerries for a Night of Illusion, starting at 7pm.
Jay will be performing close up magic for an hour, followed by a 45 minute cabaret show.
So whether you prefer to see amazing magic right in front of you; or you just want to sit back, relax and enjoy a great magic show, there’s something for everyone.

Two The Hilt: Sci-Fi Scarborough 2016 photographs
We had such a great time in Scarborough! The sun was shining, and the Spa Complex was an amazing backdrop for a weekend of sci-fi fun and games.
Jay and Erwyd battled it out three times a day with their lightsaber duel. Now that Erwyd has turned to the dark side, it’s up to Jay to keep the Sith Lord in check.
R2-D2 even showed up to watch one of their duels, but the little droid was sensible enough to keep out of reach of their superheated blades.

Our academies were a great success, with Star Wars fans of all ages being taught how to handle a lightsaber.
Some of our padawans came back again and again, thirsty for knowledge in the ways of the Force.
We also found time to hang out with some of the sci-fi fans.
Jay & Ewryd did some filming with Starwind Images, and Jay even got to face off against a medieval knight in armour.
We were also working alongside some well known names from the big sci-fi franchises, including Garrett Wang from Star Trek Voyager.
