Jester and Wizard conjure up Spring Fun in Prestatyn

Jay and Erwyd were in the local news again this week, after performing at the Spring Fun Days in Prestatyn.

Spring Fun was the first event organised by new events coordinator at Prestatyn Town Council, Kimberley Edmunds.

Kimberley said: “Everyone had an extremely fun filled time. People travelled from outside the area as well as coming from within the town due to the fact that the event took place towards the end of the school holiday rather than the main Easter weekend when there is a lot of competition for activities to get involved with.

It was lovely seeing families working together to solve the treasure hunt and seeing the joy on the faces when they solved the clues to create a word and win their prizes.

“The street shows and walkabout entertainment provided by Erywd Le Fol and Jay Gatling was hugely successful. Many families returned for the second day of the event just to see them perform again.”

North Wales Magic Circle Close-Up Competition

Last Tuesday, Jay took part in the annual close up competition of the North Wales Magic Circle, at the Constitutional Club in Prestatyn. There were six competitors, who each had to perform for a maximum of twelve minutes for two sets of audiences.

One of the other magicians filmed part of Jay’s performance and put it online, so we thought we’d share it with you all.
